“Textbook Extrovert”

Someone who loves the energy created when people come together.

From the school of hard-working Millennials and raised on nineties television, this media freelancer is ready to bring her original ideas to life while sharing her unique perspective on life as a fan girl and freelance professional in the real and virtual worlds.

How It Started…

My family takes REAL road trips. We’ve driven 3,000 miles from the east coast to the west. My parents trekked from Connecticut to Montana with my two younger siblings and me. One relative even drove from New England to Alaska!

I was born and raised in one of the most diverse cities in the United States. I spent ten years in a Girl Scout troop that reflected that diversity and eventually earned my Silver Award.

Non-profits will always have a place in my heart. I have worked and continue to volunteer for a variety of causes.

My first job was working at a Cold Stone Creamery. In college, I worked at Red Lobster and left school with no debt. Three internships and five years later, I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree and turned one of those internships into a full-time job booking guests for daytime television.

My media production skills have allowed me to work for non-profits, independent films, and local small businesses.

The first CDs I owned were Britney Spears's debut Baby One More Time, and the first of a compilation series called NOW That’s What I Call Music.

Years later, this music fan who recorded songs off the ready would become a karaoke regular and eventually a DJ at local bars and social clubs.

Though the pandemic ended that chapter, I hope to return to it someday. Whether it’s a bar sing-along, a wedding, or a backyard cookout, something magical happens when the music hits everyone’s soul at once.

Where’s This Going?

I don’t aspire to be an influencer with millions of followers; I believe that media and art should both inform and entertain. After years of working in media production and marketing departments, it’s time to put my “clip farmer intuition” to work for myself and make the content I want to see in the feed.

“Are you familiar with…?” “Let me ask you…” Phrases like this have been the key to my freelance success. As I start to produce content with crews and talent, I’m ready to be on the asking side of assistance. I believe that kindness comes back around, and there’s no harm in asking… especially in entertainment.

Any non-media-centered content? Oh, yeah! I learned the value of balance early in my career. Offline, you’ll find me cooking, gardening, and travelling with friends and family, just to name a few.
